The Lifetec Manikin Flame Retardant is a high specification, flame retardant manikin that demonstrates a good balance between temperature and abrasion resistance.
The Flame Retardant Manikin is fitted with flame retardant overalls and heat resistant firefighters’ safety boots that extend the life of the manikin by protecting the legs.
The manikins will easily withstand temperatures of 200-250 ˚C, which is the average temperature at knee height for ‘hot fire’ training.
The manikin only starts to ‘fail’ at temperatures in excess of 400 ˚C, however it can withstand
flash-over temps greater than 1000 ˚C for short periods.
