Burnshield Fire/Trauma Blankets are made from pure wool and are woven into a specially designed inter-linking cellular structure that is impregnated with Hydrogel. The blanket holds up to 14 times its weight of the unique Hydrogel, which provides remarkable heat protection and extended burn-through times. This solution draws the heat from burns and offers a highly effective trauma treatment.
Burnshield Fire/Trauma Blankets can be used with confidence as a fire and smoke shield to provide a means of escape, rescue and protection. The blankets are also ideal as a lifesaver as they can stifle flames or be placed over the burning victim to stop the flames, while at the same time providing a first aid treatment to the burns.
