Ferno Australia will be showcasing it’s full Height Safety range at Melbourne’s Safety In Action trade exhibition in early April. Among the products on display are Ferno’s Australian designed and manufactured roof anchor systems.
Ferno's new ROOFlok™ Temporary Anchor System is proving to be a popular success for tradesmen who are required to work on roofs.
The portable ROOFlok™ system is developed and manufactured by Ferno Engineering and replaces Ferno's LS16 Restraint Plate. Since safety standards amendments in late 2009, all anchors points are required to be fall arrest rated to 15kN. ROOFlok™ meets current AS/NZS1891.4 height safety standards.
ROOFlok™ is fitted with ANCHORsafe™, a unique Shock Limiter, which is also designed and manufactured by Ferno Engineering. The device is a 360 degree swivel attachment which provides the user with uninterrupted access to their work area. ANCHORsafe™ also absorbs the shock load of the user in the event of a fall.
Workers in the building and maintenance industry including air-conditioning installers are finding ROOFlok™ particularly attractive because of its lightweight portability, easy installation and removal and its pricing.
Small to medium businesses have been buying it because of its affordability and compliance with OH&S standards without hindering workers' movement and efficiency.
ROOFlok™ is cheaper than fixed permanent systems and is available from selected distributors.
